Still pregnant
It's my due date today! It's so weird. I've had this date, January 23, in my mind for so long and now it's finally here. :) I wish I could say the same thing for the baby, but she seems to be perfectly comfortable in there and not showing many signs of wanting to join us anytime soon.
I'm guessing I have a few days left. I'm aiming for Saturday as it's Australia Day, or next Tuesday, because it's Úlfar's (Borgar's brother) 30 birthday. We'll see!

good for you, i think you should also sing the national anthem while you give birth *fingers crossed for today*

NOOOO Absolutely no singing of the Australian national anthem. I dont want my grandbaby born to the sounds of Icelanders falling about laughing...

Ha....I don't remember the words anyway, except the "gert by sea" bit, which I sing extra loud.

Oh well, perhaps its good she didn't arrive on Australia Day. You might have been inspired to call her Australiana or Adelaide or something

Well, she may not have arrived on January 26, but she did clock in on the Australia Day public holiday Monday and, as every true Australian knows, the day off is what really counts!
